A Little Behind!

I know i'm a little behind on the blogging gig but I left my camera in Manti when I went home for Halloween and I haven't been home since. My mom finally brought it to me. She is the greatest. Anyways-I wanted to share these really fun cupcakes that I made for the girls I visit teach. I found out about them from my friend Alesha. Our group for one of my classes made them and gave them out the day of our presentation. Here are the ones I made:

I made Halloween ones but you could really do any color for any holiday. Aren't they so cute? I think so. They are super easy. If you want to know how to make them just ask me and I will give it to ya.

For Thanksgiving we got to see both families! Wednesday, Thursday and a part of Friday we spent in Panguitch with the Soper clan. Wednesday my cousin Kimmy had a corn dog party for us. It's an annual thing where we eat corn dogs and do fun corn dog things. Thursday was of course the beautiful Thanksgiving feast and the annual Wii bowling tournament. In the championship it was Austin, Taylor, it was either Kurt or Adam (I can't remember) and Grandpa Jack. Yeah he is a rock star. Taylor won. Whatever. This is a typical scence of the Soper Wii tournament.

This was taken awhile ago and I stole this from Tone. It's a good time :)

Friday afternoon we headed to Beaver to hang with the Beaver clan. Krstin, Scott and their kids were they only family there and we had a lot of fun. We went shopping here:

And here:
I bought a bunch of new ornaments for our tree! I love Tai Pan. They have the best prices and the cutest stuff. This place gets me in trouble! We cut down our tree in Beaver. I'm so picky because I had never cut down a tree til I met Kurt. My mom always had a fake tree. So I'm used to the perfect tree and that is what I look for. Kurt gets frustrated with me but he'll get over it. Here is Kurt cutting down our tree!

Looking for the perfect tree!

Kurt cutting the tree. He actually found it! Not me!

Our tree! It's a little bigger than I planned but it looks really good.

The boys throwing snow balls at me. You can't see my because i'm hiding.

The whole Christmas tree crew!

We had a blast seeing both families playing games, laughing at Kurt, doing the worst puzzle known to man with Scott and Kristin, and eating good food. We love the holidays!

Awwww! I missyou Whiters! Wish we could have been home with you. I'm the same way with my trees since I always grew up with a fake tree. Although out here the nearest place to cut down a tree is 3 hours away, so we just pay the Mexicans $15 and get a pretty nice shaped real tree. Can't wait to see you at Christmas! And congrats with your drill girls.
